Music has provided the beat to my feet, the rhythm to living, and the vibration that's colored my world. The resonance of presence, the tone when I'm alone, and harmony in company. Music is all encompassing, all sustaining, and infinitely expressive. Music is very simple. There are only 12 notes and only 7 are typically used in a song. These notes follow a pattern that is easy to learn and use today!

In addition to formal text books, my classes use wisdom texts like Victor Wooten's "The Music Lesson", and tiny tomes from the Wooden Book Series like Julian Gerstein's "RHYTHM, PATTERN IN TIME" and Anthony Ashton's "HARMONOGRAPH, THE VISUAL MATHEMATICS OF SOUND".In addition to crafting our own instruments, we also go on nature walks and experiment with "cymatics", the beautiful effect sound has on the elements, like sand, water, and light.
